Foundation

Arte Viva Foundation, present today in Spain, Brazil and Argentina, is a non-profit institution established in Rio de Janeiro in 1997 by its president Frances Reynolds. In 2000, following an established reputation in its country of origin, the foundation expanded to Buenos Aires, where we reached over 9,000 children through the educational project "Didáctica de Arte y el Patrimonio (DAP)". Soon after, in 2002, and to mark the success achieved in Latin America, we decided to expand our borders and founded Arte Viva Europe in Madrid.

We understand that today's society requires a fluid dialogue between different cultures, so our mission is to promote understanding between these cultures and the improvement of education and social integration. We believe it is necessary to establish respect and acceptance of differences in this social environment to help build common values that encourage living together in harmony.

For this we have a team of professionals specialized in different fields of education, culture and environment, conducting various exhibitions and educational projects.

Art Viva relies on the Visual Thinking Methodology, among others, to implement its educational programs and exhibitions. This pedagogical way of teaching was created by the Department of Education of the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA) and has been adapted to the social needs of the school community in the country.

Among our projects, created for public or private institutions, there are exhibition programs as "Mano a Mano" to commemorate the twenty fifth anniversary of the Spanish Constitution, "Splendors of Spain: From El Greco to Velázquez", "From Picasso to Barceló" and "Campus. Images of Justice ", and educational projects as "Didáctica del Arte y el Patrimonio (DAP)" and "IntegrARTE".

Arte Viva Foundation collaborates and works with international reference institutions, as well as municipalities, autonomous regions and private entities.
