Education through art: Innovative programmes for better education
All of our initiatives use art as an instrument of social integration and as a means to approach and understand the environment, creating a common space for dialogue and respect for other people’s opinions and for the world around us.
The educational programmes of the Arte Viva Foundation are based on the methodology of Visual Thinking, developed by the MoMA and adapted to the socio-cultural context in which it is implemented.
Our programmes are based on innovating pedagogical models which, through analysis and dialogue developed around Art, are conducive to critical thought and the creation of areas for integration, by promoting a deep respect for diversity and an understanding between cultures.
We establish alliances for academic and scientific collaboration on national and international levels for each programme we develop. We also endeavour to improve today’s education in order to contribute to the training of the leaders of Tomorrow.
